Native American Canoe. Camano Island State Park, WA. this is just one of the many canoes from several different tribes. They were participating in an annual event where many of the region's tribe gather and canoe together from Vancouver Island, BC to Suquamish, on the Kitsap Penninsula, WA. They consider this a healing journey, and most of the paddlers are young adults and teens from the various tribes.
