One of the places we visited was a cemetery, Vashon Cemetary. This delightful bronze sculpture was on the grave of one Gene Amondson (1943-2009). He was a Vashon Island resident who made many wood carvings that are around the island. He was a preacher, and he was also known for running for US president twice, representing the Prohibition Party. The sculpture looks to represent some of his many lifesize wood carvings. , #history, #character #VashonIsland #interestingpeople
